Northwich Rowing Club relies solely on its army of dedicated volunteers to keep the club running. Whether they are current parents, friends, club members or even parents whose children are now grown up and gone onto to the other ventures, they all enjoy being part of the club and seeing the success that comes as a result of their efforts.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with the day to day running of the club, along with anyone who would like to come along and be part of our three very successful events each year. You don’t even have to know anything about rowing for a lot for a lot of the jobs that need to be done! Whether your talents lie with making great cakes, good booking keeping, plumbing or even flower arranging, we’ve got a place for you to help at the club. If you would like to be part of the club as a volunteer, you will find it an incredibly rewarding way to spend some of your spare time, make new friends and be part of one of the most successful sporting clubs in Cheshire.
Our volunteers have been recognised on a national level with Club Captain Rachel Hooper being awarded the British Rowing Volunteer of the Year award in 2014.
